This club was chartered on January 20, 1993 by members of the Kiwanis Club of La Cañada who wanted to offer a morning club that would give service in the Foothills, Pasadena, and Los Angeles. In 2016, the La Crescenta club merged with us and we became the Kiwanis Club of La Cañada La Crescenta – AM. Charter President John (Robbie) Robinson brought his personal project of feeding the needy in South Central Los Angeles to the club. Over the years, we have honored his leadership by developing a major program that delivers food to needy people in surrounding areas every day of the year.
